The word of the Lord through St. John-- No time to baptize now- but all the time in the world for prayer.  prayer is the answer, and the spiritual renewal- how did Daniel do it?  prayed 3 times a day.  make it known to many, that is how Daniel survived and thrived in captivity.  is theirs a captivity?  yes, it has come, and that is why the confusion- they don't know they're captive.  and don't know how to respond.  make the way plain unto the Lord- He will give you a response.  and the ways are known to many.  the old, ancient ways.  white people aren't all bad- and black people are on the front lines- many go astray, and come back, astray and come back- Call them and tell them- They shall GO ASTRAY NO MORE!  Many will be looking to them for guidance.  to be that light in the wilderness- where all are gathered under the Lord's Tent, and made one- and No Judgments- Yet, Forgiveness, that the Lord's ways will be made plain-...

For peace is upon you- not as the world knows peace, but as the Lord, God does, through Jesus Christ his son.  Peace be upon you!  Fear not anything.  ANY man nor woman, nor beast in the field.  for your peace that I give you is like a shield and buckler, and a sword that is mighty.  that no hand can stop.  So bring the Peace in your world, in your life, that I may transform them.  ALL they who are weary, and not wanting any more the life for the burdens are great, and deficits are racked up against them.  they fear for only money- getting and giving- even you and your church.  Fear not and live! Judaism and Jesus An unconventional look at two very similar religious systems from a Christian perspective.  1- Jesus was and continues to be Jewish.  He was a Rabbi, he had followers, and he practiced faith in God of Israel.  He never denounced his faith, but he did denounce the religious leaders of his day.  Jesus told the religious leaders that they had no faith in God. He caused a riot because they allowed trade in the Temple, and he prophesied that the Temple would fall.  And that he would build it up again.  (What he meant by re-building the Temple is open to debate.  Some interpret it that he was speaking of his own destruction and resurrection.  Others say he will build the Temple again when he returns.  In fact, on a side note, I've been in Catholic bible studies where some people said, "oh, the religious leaders of Jesus's day are just like the Catholic leaders today!"  There's nothing new under Heaven!) 2 - The on...

Thus said the Angel of the Lord: Please be grateful for all you have, all bestowed upon you, and all you possess.  Give thanks and do offerings of thanksgiving.  Make known in the heart, your love of God and His relationship with people.  Always.  Now more than ever, God is sad with man.  And sees him straying from God's heart.  Straying.  ever straying.  and falling into the hands of evil-doers.  Not knowing the danger, the danger of evil.  So, protest and announce the goodness of God.  Always.  At every demonstration, at every gathering, at every meeting.  God is good always! So, go and declare it.  and turn not back to your old ways ever.  God gives each a choice everyday.  Love God, or love something else.  Choose God and choose Life! 

The word of the Lord from May 27, 2016: tell the men, to have their women stop taking the pill for contraception.  the pill causes cancer in women, and brain birth-defects in children- yes the autism.  make it known. have those bright scientists study it.  and men, wrap it up.  with a  condom, yes.  and be a man about it if you're having sex- have the countenance of a man, because sex is a gift from God, and should only be practiced by the stout- hearted, the responsible ones, the ones who are not children in heart, but adults!  so start acting like adults, and not like babies- stop fighting how life is- God set up life this way- get used to it!  you can change some things in your world, yes, but you will not change the foundation of the world, or how the earth moves about the sun- and many other things- so, again, get used to life- and stop fighting life!  whenever there's an air of error, and haughtiness, and vanity, and vainess- eli...

 None shall stand in front of the Lord while he works in the Holy Land- yes there are many sides that are divided, that make no small occasion to judge and work evil.  thus, be among you that which is good, and good alone.  who is good?  make it known to them, that the Lord has chosen a way forward, everyone must pay, in weight, and none shall get off free. The more that is given, the better it is for that people. so be ready, and pray for the peace in Jerusalem.  and do not bind any, nor  be afraid, but walk and work in the name of the Lord always.  that the stranger may be welcomed.  Go forth so that all may be multiplied and none pared back.

Behold on this day, the newness has conquered the oldness.  Be not dismayed at any one thing. Go forward and say the Lord lives, the Lord loves all people.  And wants them to return .  All lost sheep shall return.  And are welcomed home.  Be not dismayed. For I give rest and relaxation.  No more shall you work for no cause.  Work for my cause and Mine alone, says the Lord.  Go now and choose good always. Do not harm.  Do no harm. Pretend not to be sanctified.  Be sanctified! Go fully into the presence of the Lord, and tell my words to the People.  The lamb and lion must meet and lay down together.  Peace must reign, and when no peace is found in the land, nor in the hearts of people, then the Lord shall conquer.  Make peace reign.  Work for it today and each day. Work for peace, and not division.  Work for the children, and not the elders.  Work like there is no tomorrow.  Go and work for peace.

Like many people, I grew up with two grandfathers.  I was very close to my maternal grandfather, Grampy, and not as close to my paternal grandfather, Grampa. Grampy was Irish, funny, kind-hearted, and open-minded.  Grampa was Czech, quiet, a bit cold, resolute and traditional.  I learned the most from Czech Grampa, even though Irish Grampy's warmth was the best thing for me as a child. There was one lesson my Czech Grampa taught me, that never left me, and I will carry this lesson to my grave and beyond.  And it's very simple, but the way he taught me, was the bigger lesson.  It's  this:  "Michael, in the winter, always throw sand, salt or ice melt on the front stairs." "Living Biblically" is a new sitcom on CBS this season, and the single most amazing thing about it, is that it is an actual sitcom on a major national television network in this day and age. It's refreshing, lively, and the religious characters- priest, rabbi- are actually strong, smart people.  The main character, Chip, is the most interesting, and probably the most difficult to write for, and perhaps, to play.  Kooky, goofy, and off-the-wall are adjectives that should never describe him.  The producers and actor should really put all their energy into making him quirky, smart, charming and quizzical. This is a delicate dance, no doubt. Here's some other thoughts about making the show better-- each episode should open with Chip reading a Bible verse- and Chip can kind of have a humorous monologue about it, (or dialogue with God) and then the show is based on that verse (as is currently the situation).  And at the end, Chip should reflect on the episode's t...

Adam- the first human. Anytime I eat fruit, like an apple or orange, I sometimes think back on how God created it.  These fruits are a perfect example of God's love for us.  The seeds of the apple are tucked deep by the core so we can enjoy a crisp, juicy bite of apple.  And it's amazing something so crisp can be so juicy at the same time. Then there's the orange.  God has created a pre-sliced fruit that we only need to peel to enjoy it's utter splendor and deliciousness.  Sometimes when I eat a particularly sweet, juicy orange- I say, "God, you really knocked it out of the park with this one.  My, my, my."  But how would God know how good these fruits- and his entire creation- would be to us lowly, mortal humans?  This is where Adam plays a role.  I think Adam was God's beta-tester.  God makes a banana- gives it to Adam and says "what do you think about this?"
